In addition to the weekly club meeting in The Crown members also run Sessions on Monday afternoons at 2:00pm in the Half Moon and Thursday evenings at 7:30pm in a number of different pubs around the Melton Mowbray area.
This is in the form of an "everybody join in" playing of tunes and songs. These are mostly traditional and come from all corners of the British Isles and even some from further afield.
There is a Facebook group dedicated to these sessions and a playlist and sheet music are published periodically. The locations for the itinerant Thursday night sessions are also published here.
